Owner
Steve purchased Lloyd Boyce Paving in 2004 and brings more than 30 years of paving experience to every project. His dedication to exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do.
When he’s not on-site overseeing operations, Steve enjoys flying, spending time outdoors, and making the most of his time with his wife and two daughters.

Andrew & Kaleigh McPherson

Andrew began working for Lloyd Boyce Paving in 2021, and since then, his dedication and strong work ethic have truly stood out — earning the respect of both Steve and Lloyd. With plans to take over the business by 2027, Andrew is committed to carrying on the legacy of Lloyd Boyce Paving.
This journey is especially meaningful as he follows in the footsteps of his great-grandfather, Richard McPherson, the original developer of the company “R.T. McPherson Paving” before its name change and takeover by Lloyd Boyce — a true full-circle moment.
We are incredibly proud of Andrew and all he has accomplished. When he’s not on the job, Andrew enjoys spending his time with his wife, Kaleigh, and their sweet pup, Denali.

Previous Owners
Lloyd and Diane proudly owned and operated Lloyd Boyce Paving for 23 years before retiring and passing the business on to Steve. Throughout their leadership, they built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, integrity, and lasting client relationships — standards that continue to guide the company today.
In recognition of their dedication and success, Lloyd and Diane were honoured as recipients of the 2025 Business Achievement Award from the Norwich Chamber of Commerce. Both remain actively involved in the Norwich community, and Lloyd can still be found on site during the busy season, lending a hand when it’s needed most.
When they’re not working, Lloyd and Diane enjoy travelling in their RV and especially cherish their trips to Hawaii, making the most of every opportunity to explore and relax together.
Richard & Ted McPherson
Founders
In 1956, father-and-son team Richard and Ted McPherson founded R.T. McPherson Asphalt Paving, helping pioneer asphalt paving in Norwich and across Southwestern Ontario. As one of the early leaders in the industry locally, they played a key role in introducing modern paving practices to the region.
Their commitment to solid workmanship and dependable service quickly earned them a strong reputation, and many of their original projects are still standing strong today — a lasting testament to the quality of their work.
In 1980, the company entered a new chapter when it was purchased by Lloyd Boyce, and the name was changed to Lloyd Boyce Paving. Lloyd had worked alongside Richard for several years prior to purchasing the business, gaining valuable experience and insight that helped shape the company’s future. Building on the strong foundation established by the McPherson family, Lloyd continued to grow the business into what it is today.
